Brewers Announce Derek Hyde Promoted to Senior Vice President – Information Technology

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers today announced that Derek Hyde has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Information Technology. In this elevated role, Hyde will join the executive leadership team, driving the Club’s enterprise technology strategy, innovation roadmap, cybersecurity and digital transformation initiatives. His leadership will be instrumental in enhancing the Club’s technological infrastructure and delivering forward-looking solutions that support the Club’s long-term growth.

A graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in aerospace engineering, Hyde was honored with the 2023 Wisconsin CIO of the Year ORBIE Award for his contributions to digital transformation and technology advancement.

“We’re proud to recognize Derek’s contributions and leadership with this well-earned promotion,” Schlesinger said. “His work has been instrumental in ensuring our information systems remain best in class, both within our office operations and in the American Family Field fan experience.”
