Brewers Acquire OF Daz Cameron and Cash from Orioles
Send Left-Handed Pitcher Grant Wolfram to Baltimore
MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired outfielder Daz Cameron and cash from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for left-handed pitcher Grant Wolfram. Cameron will report to Triple-A Nashville. The announcement was made by Senior Vice President and General Manager Matt Arnold.
Cameron, 28, has played parts of four seasons with Detroit (2020-22) and Oakland (2024), appearing in 139 games and starting at all three outfield positions (57g in RF, 30g in CF, 20g in LF). The son of former Major League outfielder Mike Cameron was originally selected by Houston in Competitive Balance Round A (37th overall) of the 2015 First-Year Player Draft.Wolfram, 28, signed with Milwaukee as a free agent on Dec. 11. He was recalled yesterday from Triple-A Nashville and optioned back after the game without pitching. He was designated for assignment earlier today. He has not pitched in the Major Leagues and spent his entire professional career (2018-24) in the Texas Rangers organization prior to signing with Milwaukee.
