Bodner Named BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week

Meg Bireley named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Marquette University women’s lacrosse senior Hanna Bodner has been named BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

In Marquette’s 16-5 win at Butler on Saturday, Bodner had three goals, one assist, one ground ball, one caused turnover and three draw controls.

Meg Bireley was named to the weekly honor roll after six goals and one assist against the Bulldogs. Bireley opened the scoring with her 176th goal of her career to pass Grace Gabriel (2016-19) for the most career goals in program history.

Marquette returns to action on Tuesday hosting Arizona State at noon CT at Valley Fields.
