To close out Black History Month, Alderman Mark Chambers, Jr. and Common Council colleagues will host the Black History Month Power Hour networking event on Tuesday, February 27 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall Rotunda, 200 E. Wells St.

The second annual networking event will provide young professionals an opportunity to network, make connections, and build relationships that will strengthen our community. The event is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required. Light refreshments will be provided.

“Black History Month is all about honoring and remembering the legacies of those who have inspired us and inspired great change in our communities. We hope the public, and especially our community’s young professionals, will use this networking event as an opportunity to share their stories, discuss ways to improve Milwaukee, and above all, build meaningful relationships that will further the rich legacy of Black History Month,” Alderman Chambers said.

The event is sponsored by the City of Milwaukee, Molson Coors, Safe & Sound, Amundsen Davis, Kroger and Summerfest.
