Bike & Play Fest to be held in West Basin on Saturday
Alderwoman Andrea M. Pratt is inviting district residents to take part in tomorrow’s Bike & Play Fest, hosted by the Northwest Side Community Development Corporation. The Bike & Play Fest is free and open to the public, and will include free food, live music, and an assortment of games and family-friendly activities. The event will take place on Saturday, June 24 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) West Basin, 4350 N. 35th St.
In addition to free food and live music, other activities will include carnival games, giveaways, and art projects, as well as a variety of bike related activities including free bicycle repairs by DreamBikes, a bike safety workshop from the MKE Rec Community Bike Club, and a chance to win a free youth bike in the festival giveaways. A number of local organizations will also be in attendance offering resources and information for those interested. Free food and giveaways will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.What: Bike & Play Fest
