Bike & Play Fest to be held in West Basin on Saturday

Alderwoman Andrea M. Pratt is inviting district residents to take part in tomorrow’s Bike & Play Fest, hosted by the Northwest Side Community Development Corporation. The Bike & Play Fest is free and open to the public, and will include free food, live music, and an assortment of games and family-friendly activities. The event will take place on Saturday, June 24 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) West Basin, 4350 N. 35^th St.

In addition to free food and live music, other activities will include carnival games, giveaways, and art projects, as well as a variety of bike related activities including free bicycle repairs by DreamBikes, a bike safety workshop from the MKE Rec Community Bike Club, and a chance to win a free youth bike in the festival giveaways. A number of local organizations will also be in attendance offering resources and information for those interested. Free food and giveaways will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
