Bader Rutter announces it’s hired three new additions to its leadership team. Ned Brown, Allison Madell and Eric Kirkhofer will serve as leaders in creative, public relations and finance, respectively.
Ned Brown
Ned Brown joins the agency as its new chief creative officer. In this role Brown will drive the agency’s creative vision and serve on the newly formed seven-person executive leadership team. Brown joins the agency from Cramer-Krasselt where he served as VP/group creative director. He’s helped build and shape iconic brands such as Porsche, Corona, Apple and Adidas. His launch of new products and expansion of brands in new segments and markets has led to impressive advertising awards from Cannes, the Addys, the Obies and The One Show, just to name a few.
Brown leads the creative department and brings a passion for finding big ideas that are meaningful for clients’ audiences. He brings a base of experience that bodes well for the creative team as he inspires them to produce great work.
Allison Madell
Allison Madell has joined the agency as public relations and social media director. In this role she will drive the 60-person public relations and social media practice, including field representatives and social monitoring and issues management teams. Madell joins the agency from Weber Shandwick in Chicago, a leading global communications agency, where she served as the EVP, global client experience leader. During her seven years there she oversaw the ALDI account and managed a team of 60+ public relations and social media practitioners.
With more than 25 years of experience, Madell has worked at some of the nation’s most prominent public relations agencies, including Edelman public relations, Porter Novelli, Powell Tate and Ogilvy & Mather. While at Edelman, she led the food and nutrition group in Chicago. She also spent five years working for Dairy Management, Inc.
Madell’s results-oriented leadership and passion for relationship management and strategic idea generation make her a perfect fit at Bader Rutter.
Eric Kirkhofer
In addition, Eric Kirkhofer joins the agency as chief financial officer. Kirkhofer joins Bader Rutter from BuySeasons, the New Berlin-based online retailer of costumes and party goods, where he was chief operating officer and chief investment officer. He also held the title of chief financial officer before being promoted by the company. Kirkhofer has also served as chief financial officer for Evite and vice president of credit services for Kohl’s department stores.
Kirkhofer manages the agency’s finance, operations and IT functions. In this role he will orchestrate the fiscal management of Bader Rutter and develop performance metrics to support its strategic direction. He also serves on the newly formed seven-member executive leadership team. Kirkhofer’s role positions the agency to keep building the financial and IT infrastructure to support its strategic direction.
“We’re excited these three powerhouses have joined the Bader Rutter team,” said Jeff Young, CEO of Bader Rutter. “They will not only elevate our leadership team but will also guide the agency toward its company goals.”
