Arte Para Todos Holiday Hip Hop Fundraiser

Arte Para Todos is also proud to announce a series of lead-up concerts before the official 2018 festival.

The 7th Annual Holiday Hip-Hop Benefit returns to Company Brewing on Saturday, December 23, where it was held for two years (then Stonefly) and featured headliners Lorn and Klassik. Unlike past iterations of the benefit, which were showcase-style events, the 7th Annual Holiday Hip-Hop Benefit will be more of a dance party. This is due to the success of the series Grihalva and his girlfriend Kristina Rolander have produced at Company Brewing, which include Beyonce/Jay-Z vs. Rihanna/Drake, Kendrick Lamar/Dr. Dre vs. Kanye West/Chance the Rapper, and 90s hip-hop/R&B with a TLC cover group that featured Lex Allen, YAZ and Zed Kenzo.

The theme of the 7th Annual Holiday Hip-Hop Benefit dance party will be “Old School vs. New School,” with DJ Dripsweat, Turtle Sooup and Domo spinning the best from boom bap to mumble rap. There will also be two performances, with AUTOMatic representing for the “Old School” and Shle Berry showing out for the “New School.”

Arte Para Todos is also proud to announce a series of lead-up concerts before the official 2018 festival. The APT festival is held in specific neighborhoods with a density of venues, ideal for bouncing from one show to the next. The lead-up series aims to hold one-off shows in satellite neighborhoods that may not be as familiar to Milwaukee music fans. There will be one lead-up event each month starting in January. Stay tuned for more details.
