Announcing the 2019 Preservation Award Recipients
The Wisconsin Trust for Historic Preservation recognizes this year’s recipients
Oshkosh, Wisconsin: The Wisconsin Trust for Historic Preservation has announced the recipients of its 2019 Preservation Awards. The Preservation Awards recognize outstanding efforts to preserve Wisconsin’s Historic places. Award winning projects include buildings from humble and grand, representing the value preservation can bring to the environment, local communities and local economies.
This year’s award recipients:
Nunn Bush Factory (now Welford Sanders Lofts) | Milwaukee, Milwaukee County
Empire Block (small mixed use) | Superior, Douglas County Empire Block
Northland Hotel | Green Bay, Brown County
Cambridge Historic School Museum | Cambridge, Dane County
Eagles Club (now the Howard) | Oshkosh, Winnebago County
Marathon Shoe Company (now Atrium Lofts) | Wausau, Marathon County
The 2019 awards were presented in Oshkosh, WI at the 2019 Wisconsin Association of Historic Preservation Commission State Conference on April 12.
