Tax reform can boost Wisconsin’s future, provide long-term tax relief
MADISON, Wis. – Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) today announced its support of the LeMahieu/Brooks flat tax proposal, a bill that would transition Wisconsin’s progressive personal income tax system to a flat tax.
AFP-WI State Director Eric Bott released the following statement:
“Adopting a flat personal income tax will provide real, long-term tax relief that Wisconsin families need and deserve. Senator LeMahieu’s and Representative Brooks’ bill takes excellent steps in transforming Wisconsin’s tax code to help drive the economy and put more money hack in the pockets of hardworking Wisconsinites.
