Americans for Prosperity Applauds Wisconsin Legislature For Passing John Doe Reform
John Doe Reform Key To Protecting Civil Liberties
MADISON — Americans for Prosperity State Director Eric Bott released the following statement applauding the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate for passing John Doe reform.
“Today the Legislature voted to protect civil liberties in Wisconsin,” said Eric Bott. “The John Doe law was misused to harass families that spoke their minds. These much needed reforms will ensure that people have the freedom to voice their opinions without fear of unconstitutional secret investigations, intimidation, or censorship.”
