Ald. Dimitrijevic to host virtual meeting to discuss traffic safety on Superior St.
14th District Alderwoman Marina Dimitrijevic will host a virtual neighborhood meeting on Friday, August 7th from 6 – 7 p.m. to discuss traffic safety measures along Superior Street. The street near South Shore Park has seen several high-damage car accidents in recent years including an incident last week where a driver struck two parked cars. The Department of Public Works will be present at the meeting to share recommendations for the area.
“Residents along Superior Street are frustrated by the continued high speeds and traffic accidents that have been occurring in that neighborhood and I share their concerns,” said Alderwoman Dimitrijevic. “It’s time we take the needed steps to make Superior Street safer for motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists, and I look forward to discussing traffic safety options at the virtual meeting next week.”
