AFP-Wisconsin Endorses Tom Tiffany in High-Stakes Governor’s Race

By - Feb 19th, 2026 04:00 pm

Madison, WI — Americans for Prosperity–Wisconsin (AFP–WI) endorsed Rep. Tom Tiffany for governor on Thursday, throwing the support of Wisconsin’s largest grassroots organization behind his candidacy for the state’s highest office in November.

The 2026 race will determine Wisconsin’s path forward: either prosperity or top-down progressive control. Rep. Tiffany offers the best platform to right the Badger State’s course and bring down the cost of living after eight years of failed policies from outgoing Gov. Tony Evers.

AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak issued the following statement:

“Tom Tiffany offers a roadmap to bring prosperity to Wisconsin. His steady leadership and pro-growth policies are the solutions this state needs to make life more affordable for all Wisconsinites.

“As the largest grassroots organization in the state, no one understands better than we do what the top issue is for voters, and the message is clear; the cost of living in Wisconsin is too high.

“We desperately need a change from the last eight years. Wisconsin cannot afford more failed progressive policies that have led to a 400-year property tax hike and unaffordable energy bills. These failed policies are hurting Wisconsinites, which is why AFP-WI is mobilizing in support of Tom Tiffany to help make Wisconsin the beacon of freedom in the Midwest.”

Americans for Prosperity–Wisconsin will bring its signature grassroots efforts in support of Tom Tiffany between now and Election Day.

Alright, how much Uhlein and Epic money are they getting? I can’t find out who their donors are on their site. One of their priorities is “Labor reforms to support worker choice”.

    What a powerful anti-endorsement.
