AFP Applauds Dentistry Board Urging Access to Dental Services
MADISON, WI—Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) today applauded action taken by the Wisconsin Dentistry Examining Board in adopting a statement to urge unrestricted access to dental services for all Wisconsin citizens.
AFP-WI State Director Eric Bott issued the following statement:
“Governor Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services’ blanket shutdown has limited access to crucial health care services for over two months. Access to oral health care is immensely important to maintaining and ensuring positive health outcomes for all Wisconsin citizens. We urge the Evers administration and the Department of Health Services to work with the Dentistry Examining Board in making further decisions on ensuring Wisconsinites’ access to dental care.”
Background:
Earlier today, AFP-WI and the John K. MacIver Institute for Public Policy penned a letter to Dr. Matthew Bistan, Chair of the Dentistry Examining Board.
