MILWAUKEE COUNTY – Since announcing his campaign for Milwaukee County Sheriff in April 2017, Earnell Lucas has received the support of elected officials, community leaders, organizations and publications. This support reflects a community united in demanding a new Sheriff who will restore honor, integrity and the public’s trust to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.
“I am deeply grateful for the outpouring of support that our campaign is receiving,” said Lucas. “Every resident, every community advocate, every elected leader and every organization supporting this effort plays a key role in building a strong and safe Milwaukee County. We deserve a fresh, new start, and as our supporters’ confidence attests, I have the experience, judgment and leadership to move the Sheriff’s Office forward.”
Lucas’ supporters include United States Senator Tammy Baldwin, Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Mayor Tom Barrett, District Attorney John Chisholm, three former governors, experienced law enforcement leaders, every labor organization endorsing in the race and the only law enforcement organization endorsing in the race.
