2020 NEWaukee Night Market Season Canceled
Milwaukee, Wisc. June 8, 2020 – Due to health and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 NEWaukee Night Market season has been canceled.
The NEWaukee Night Market is a free, outdoor event showcasing a variety of local Milwaukee vendors, performers and artists. Held monthly during the summer, the Night Market offers a wide variety of experiences for people of all backgrounds and ages. The NEWaukee Night Markets were originally scheduled to be held on West Wisconsin Avenue between Plankinton and Vel R. Phillips Avenue from 5-10 p.m. on June 10th, July 8th, August 19th and September 9th .
Additionally, NEWaukee has canceled their annual Urban Island Beach Party in Lakeshore State Park, which was originally scheduled for July 31st.
NEWaukee is closely monitoring the situation surrounding COVID-19. NEWaukee will continue to work in tandem with public officials and health professionals as new developments and learnings evolve. If alternative event plans are possible in the future, NEWaukee will share updates via social media and online at newaukee.com.
NEWaukee plans to bring back the Night Market in 2021.
