Kilbourn Reservoir Park

Kilbourn Reservoir Park, a 35-acre City of Milwaukee park located in Riverwest at North Avenue and Humboldt Boulevard. The park was created with the removal of a 135-year-old underground drinking water reservoir that once held 20 million gallons of water. The land was donated in the 1870s to the City of Milwaukee by Mayor Byron Kilbourn. Landscaping includes historic and native vegetation — trees, shrubs, and a mix of prairie grasses, sedges, and forbs Furnishings include Harp lights, ornamental fencing, waste receptacles, benches along pathways, and bike racks at park entrances.
