A swinging railroad bridge originally constructed by the Chicago & North Western Railway (CNW) and now owned by Union Pacific.
The bridge was originally located upriver and relocated to its current location in 1898.
Canadian Pacific Kansas City maintains a swing upriver.
A second CNW Kinnickinnic River swing bridge, located west of the CPKC bridge, was demolished in 1996.
