He is the son of Frank Crivello of Phoenix Investors.
He attended school at Carnegie Mellon University for business but has not completed a degree, according to his LinkedIn profile. He previously worked in software engineering for Direct Supply from 2005 to 2008. He was the chief operating officer for SkoreIt from April 2009 to November 2012, a penny auction website which shut down and was sold to Beezid. He previously led Capable Management Consulting.
