Since its Inception in 2009, Yacht Blast for Kids has granted 231 wishes for deserving Wish Kids through Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. For the past 12 years, generous boat owners taken wish families out on their yachts for a special day on the water.

Due to COVID-19, Yacht Blast For Kids 2020 will look different than years past. This year, Yacht Blast For Kids will be a boat parade which will depart from the lake near the Calatrava at 1 p.m. on Sunday, August 30th and make its way under the Hoan Bridge, up the river, and will turn around near the Milwaukee Ale House.

The community is asked to find a spot on the lakeshore or on the riverwalk and enjoy a boat parade, which will feature some of Milwaukee’s best vessels, and of course make a donation to this fundraiser at yachtblast.org.
