Furniture designer and architect Asher Israelow joins the MIAD Creativity Series Wednesday, November 16, 6 – 7:30 p.m. in the Fourth Floor Raw Space of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, 273 E. Erie Street.

Israelow’s public presentation, “Asher Israelow: Craft and Lore,” details his studio process as well as projects in which inlay, mapping and storytelling are major components. The talk is followed by a Q&A.

He says, “I am attracted to most art forms and have a hard time distinguishing art from design. I think when design is done well, it becomes art.”

The MIAD Creativity Series was founded by Madeleine and David Lubar.
