The Milwaukee Repertory Theater complex, part of the bigger Associated Bank River Center complex (formerly Milwaukee Center). Previously named after donors Patty Baker and Jay Baker. Opened in 1987. The complex will be renamed as the Associated Bank Theater Center as part of a renovation agreement first announced in 2022.

Originally designed by Herman Esser as a power plant, the Oneida Street Station, for The Milwaukee Electric Railway & Light Company. It was the first plant in the world to burn pulverized coal. An earlier plant absorbed into Esser’s complex was designed by Edward Townsend Mix.
