Emily Thome is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee majoring in Professional and Technical Writing with a minor in Journalism. Emily is also an intern at Historic Milwaukee, Inc. and is very passionate about learning about and preserving the city that she lives in. She is a huge fan of indie and alt. rock music and loves listening to the Strokes and Mazzy Star while reading and writing creative non-fiction. One day, Emily hopes to write the next Great American Novel while also doing marketing work for non-profit organizations.
