School & Village Board Member Dylan Helmenstine Raises Over $122,000 for State Treasurer Race
Mid-year Fundraising Milestone Reflects Growing Statewide Grassroots Support
BLACK EARTH, WIS. – Today, Dylan Helmenstine‘s campaign for Wisconsin State Treasurer announced it has raised more than $122,000 to date. This comes as the campaign raised more than $85,000 from over 500 contributions during the first half of 2026. Additionally, the campaign’s July Continuing Report shows a June 30th balance of more than $62,000 cash on hand heading into the final six weeks of the campaign. This fundraising success allowed the Helmenstine campaign to surpass its 2026 mid-year fundraising goal, signaling a people-powered effort backed by Wisconsinites from across the state who want transparent, accountable government and community-first leadership.
The campaign’s strong mid-year fundraising comes as Helmenstine has secured endorsements from more than 70 elected leaders across Wisconsin, as well as three organizational endorsements from Fair Wisconsin, Citizen Action of Wisconsin, and the Stoughton Area Dems & Progressives.
“I am grateful for every person who has invested in this campaign and believes in our vision to build a more transparent and accountable Wisconsin,” said Dylan Helmenstine. “From rural communities to our largest cities, Wisconsinites are coming together because they believe the state treasurer’s office can use public power for the public good and help move Wisconsin forward.”
Helmenstine brings extensive hands-on experience in public service and fiscal oversight. He serves on the Wisconsin Heights School Board and the Village Board of Black Earth, and previously served as President of the Dane County District 1 EMS Board. He’s also a Governor’s appointee to the Teachers’ Retirement Board and worked as a financial analyst overseeing Wisconsin Medicaid programs.
With growing statewide support and a strong grassroots foundation, Helmenstine’s campaign is expanding its outreach across Wisconsin to engage voters, listen to local concerns, and build a coalition committed to transparent leadership and financial systems that work for everyone.

The Wisconsin State Treasurer primary election will take place on August 11, 2026, and the general election is on November 3, 2026.
