Milwaukee Bucks Sign Brayden Burries
MILWAUKEE (July 5, 2026) – The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Brayden Burries.
The 10th overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, Burries played and started in 39 games last season as a freshman at Arizona. The 6-4, 215-pound guard averaged a team-high 16.1 points (T-15th in Big 12), 4.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.5 steals (T-7th in Big 12) in 29.8 minutes per game while shooting 49.1% from the field (10th in Big 12). He earned 2025-26 All-Big 12 First Team and 2025-26 Big 12 All-Freshman Team honors, and he was named to the 2025-26 All-Big 12 Tournament Team after leading the Wildcats to a perfect 3-0 mark in the Big 12 Conference Tournament.
A native of California, Burries finished sixth in the Big 12 last season in total points (626), sixth in steals (59), ninth in field goals made (210), ninth in free throws made (136), 10th in minutes played (1,162) and 13th in threes made (70). The 20-year-old also helped Arizona reach the Final Four in the 2026 NCAA Tournament by averaging 16.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 31.8 minutes per game while shooting 48.1% from the field and 51.7% from three.
