Red Cross of Wisconsin Appoints Amy Hechimovich as Regional Donor Services Executive
Wisconsin (April 29, 2026) —The American Red Cross of Wisconsin has appointed Amy Hechimovich as its new regional donor services executive, overseeing the region’s mobile blood collection operations.
Hechimovich brings 18 years of experience with the Red Cross of Wisconsin, where she has earned a reputation as a thoughtful, collaborative leader who prioritizes strong teams and positive donor experiences.
Most recently, Hechimovich served as collections district manager, leading multisite teams through growth and change. She has also held interim executive roles, including interim regional services executive for Nebraska and Iowa and interim collections director for Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois. In these roles, she led complex operations, supported labor relations, and advanced engagement, retention and compliance efforts. Earlier in her career, she served as a team supervisor, division instructor and document control specialist.
Originally from Wisconsin, Hechimovich lives in Northeast Wisconsin and brings energy and purpose to her leadership. As she begins this next chapter, the Red Cross of Wisconsin celebrates her dedication, experience, and positive impact and looks forward to her continued leadership of the region’s donor services team.
The Red Cross of Wisconsin serves 68 counties in Wisconsin and eight counties in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, organized into five chapters: Northwest, North Central, Northeast, Southwest, and Southeast. As part of its humanitarian mission, the Red Cross provides emergency relief to residents impacted by disasters and supports service members and their families. The organization works to help communities become safer and more resilient by collecting blood, installing free smoke alarms, teaching health and safety skills such as CPR, water safety, and first aid, and empowering residents with emergency preparedness education.
“I am honored to step into the role of regional donor services executive in a region I have proudly served throughout my career, alongside an exceptional leadership team I have had the privilege of working with,” Hechimovich said. “Together, we will build on a strong foundation and elevate our collective impact in service to our mission.”
