Rick Schlesinger, Marti Wronski and Cecelia Gore Named to Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2026 Power Players List
Milwaukee Brewers Front Office Executives Recognized for Leadership Efforts
MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers are proud to announce that President – Business Operations Rick Schlesinger, Chief Operating Officer Marti Wronski and Executive Director – Brewers Community Foundation Cecelia Gore have been named to the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2026 Power Players list, recognizing influential leaders who are shaping the future of Southeast Wisconsin. The list is curated by Milwaukee Business Journal reporters and editors with input from community nominations.
Schlesinger enters his 24th season with the Brewers, Wronski her 23rd, and Gore her 17th. Together, these leaders are widely recognized – both within the organization and across the community – as respected decision-makers and trusted collaborators who know how to get things done.
As President – Business Operations, Schlesinger works closely with Wronski to oversee all aspects of the Club’s business operations. His leadership has contributed to significant growth across revenue generation, process improvement and front office talent recruitment, helping guide the organization into one of Major League Baseball’s most stable and successful eras. Additionally, Schlesinger was honored as the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2025 Executive of the Year, an honor recognizing his exceptional leadership, strategic vision and commitment to strengthening the Brewers business operations and community impact.
Wronski, a nationally respected executive in sports business and organizational leadership, is passionate about corporate culture, talent development and the integration of analytics across business operations. She maintains active involvement in numerous local and national legal, charitable and professional organizations and frequently speaks on topics including leadership, women in sports, and the evolving role of lawyers in business.
Gore also dedicates her time and expertise to numerous corporate and nonprofit boards, including CG Schmidt, Town Bank, the Sojourner Family Peace Center, the Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream Foundation and Alverno College. In addition, Gore was recently named as a UPAF Community Campaign co-chair, leading efforts to rally business, civic and philanthropic support behind a performing arts ecosystem throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.
