Cream City Foundation Awards $50,000 to Twenty Students for its 2025 LGBTQ+ Scholarship Program
MILWAUKEE, WI – Cream City Foundation announces that it has selected 20 scholarship recipients for the 2025-2026 academic school year. This includes two recipients being awarded “Courage Scholarships” – which were generously sponsored by Courage+, and awarded to graduating High School Seniors. Scholarships are made possible by the generous donations of hundreds of donors and the support of the William J Rader Fund.
Cream City Foundation’s (CCF) Scholarship Program is building on years of success with another class of talented students in Southeastern Wisconsin. This year 20 scholarships were awarded to students in the amount of $2,500 each. Cream City Foundation is honored to award these scholarships, which is only made possible through the generosity of its donors.
“We are incredibly proud of the impact the scholarship program has had since its start in 2015. We are at 10 years and still going strong! Thanks to the generous support of our donors, CCF has awarded over $320,000 to the future leaders of our community,” stated CCF President and Board Director, Charlie Nash.
“It has been an honor to serve both Cream City Foundation on its Board of Directors and as Chair of the Scholarship Committee. We had an exceptional class of applicants this year, and we are so excited to play a part in their journey” stated Committee Chair and CCF Board Secretary Emmett Roehr.
Cream City Foundation launches its Scholarship Program every spring. LGBTQ+ identifying students who are residents of southeastern Wisconsin and are pursuing a post-secondary education are encouraged to apply. Students who are allies of the LGBTQ+ community are also encouraged to apply as allies play an important role in making spaces more accepting.
