Track & Field Competes at Drake Alternative and Drake Relays Thursday
Day two of Drake Relays begins Friday morning
Marquette University track & field competed at the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative and Drake Relays on Thursday.
UW-WHITEWATER DRAKE ALTERNATIVE
- Emily Capper finished first in the 1500 meter and set a new PR of 4:49.47.
- Isabelle Kissane set a PR and finished fourth in the 400-meter with a time of 59.94 seconds.
- Mila Puseljic finished first in the long jump at 5.41 meters.
- Will Waterstradt finished second in the 110-meter hurdles at 14.96 seconds.
- Casey Carlson finished second in the high jump at 1.94 meters.
- Kaitlyn Huebner finished second in the pole vault clearing 3.31 meters.
- Marquette went 1-2 in the women’s 5000 meter with Gianna Konen (18:07.84) and Sadie Kibelstis (18:18.45).
- Ronald Walters finished first in the men’s 5000 meter with a PR of 15:12.68.
DRAKE RELAYS
- Cole Donahe and Gus Kasun competed in decathlon events at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.
- Emma Coon finished eighth in the 5000 meter at 17:11.27 for a new PR by one a minute.
