Supervisor Logsdon Celebrates Franklin’s Spot on Redfin’s “Top 10 Hottest Neighborhoods in America” List for 2025

MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Supervisor Patti Logsdon issued the following statement celebrating a major recognition for the City of Franklin, which has been named one of Redfin’s “Top 10 Hottest Neighborhoods in America” for 2025:

“This national recognition reaffirms what we’ve long known—Franklin is a thriving community that offers a great quality of life, excellent schools, and welcoming neighborhoods,” said Supervisor Logsdon. “Our district continues to attract families and professionals alike, and I’m proud to see Franklin receive the spotlight it deserves.”

Ranked #7 nationally, Franklin—located in District 9, was highlighted for its surge in homebuyer interest and competitive real estate market.

According to Redfin, the list is based on year-over-year growth in online listing views and the Redfin Compete Score, which measures how difficult it is to win a home in each area. Franklin’s 53132 zip code saw a 129% increase in median views per listing, a 25% uptick in home sales, and a 10.5% rise in the median sale price over the past year.

Redfin praised Franklin for its commuter-friendly location, growing new home construction, and desirable lot sizes—all of which are driving demand from buyers across the region and beyond. Franklin now joins the ranks of top neighborhoods in Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Chicago, underscoring the Midwest’s rising profile in the national housing market.
