Hall of Fame Collegiate Coach, Former Brewers Infielder Join Organization
MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers today announced the additions of Hall of Fame collegiate coach Pat Casey and former Major League infielder Jace Peterson as consultants to the organization’s player development and high performance staff.
Casey will spend time at each of the organization’s full-season affiliates and in Milwaukee to serve as an advisor to player development and its alignment with manager Pat Murphy and the Major League team.
Peterson, 34, rejoins the Brewers after appearing in 232 games with the team over three seasons from 2020-22. In addition to the Brewers, Peterson played for San Diego (2014), Atlanta (2015-17), New York-AL (2018), Baltimore (2018-19), Oakland (2023) and Arizona (2023-24) over the course of his 11-year Major League career. He will use experience from his playing career to help the organization’s performance psychology department as a resource to players on how to navigate the mental side of the game.
