CHICAGO – Marquette University track & field competed on the final day of the 2025 BIG EAST Indoor Championships on Saturday.

“I’m really proud of the big team,” Bert Rogers said. “We had a few rough events this weekend and a couple injuries that cost us points and likely a few spots in the standings. But, boy, we competed hard. I’m really proud of everyone.”

Aaron Hughes won gold in the 200m with a program record 21.37 second race. The junior also won bronze in the 60m earlier in the day at 6.83 seconds.

Hughes is the first Golden Eagle since Joe Keys to win gold at the conference indoor championships. Keys won gold in the heptathlon in 2022.

Annika Bynum won bronze in the high jump clearing 1.73m, her second-straight third-place finish at the indoor conference championships.

Julia Beck ran an 8.81 second 60h in the finals to finish fifth, the second-best time in program history.

Daylee Braden finished fifth in the 800m final, running a 2:07.78.

Gus Kasun was fourth in the heptathlon with a total of 4,982 points, the sixth-best mark in program history. Cole Donahe finished fifth in the heptathlon with 4,447 points, the ninth-best total in program history.
