Susan Crawford Attempted to Overturn Act 10
WAUKESHA, Wisc. – Susan Crawford is spiraling out of control and she can’t keep up with her own lies anymore. In a bizarre PBS interview, Susan Crawford seemingly “forgot” everything she once bragged about. A quick Google search might help Susan Crawford remember that she was the lead attorney who attempted to overturn Act 10 and Wisconsin’s Voter ID law. Instead, she claims that Judge Brad Schimel has prejudged cases.
Now, Crawford wants Wisconsin voters to forget that ever happened. Despite the fact that Susan Crawford served as the lead attorney who attempted to overturn Act 10 and is receiving transactional endorsements from fanatical opponents of Act 10 who expect her to legislate from the bench, she refuses to recuse herself from presiding over the case that will come before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. This dishonest posturing from Susan Crawford is precisely what Wisconsin voters despise about political activists like her.
For Susan Crawford, it’s a pattern: when it was popular for her career path, she fought and bragged about her efforts to enact her liberal agenda. Now that she is pursuing a statewide office, she’s doing all she can to shed her unpopular and radical past.
“Susan Crawford’s incessant and shameless thirst for power is so extreme that she will do anything and say anything, even outright lie to the Wisconsin people to enact her dangerously liberal agenda,” said Schimel Campaign Spokesperson Jacob Fischer. “Judge Schimel is running to restore to the Wisconsin Supreme Court what Susan Crawford lacks: integrity.”
