Forbes Earns Spot on BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Marquette University women’s basketball sophomore forward Skylar Forbes earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference office announced Monday.

Forbes averaged 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 blocks over Marquette’s two wins last week.

The Markham, Ontario native had 11 points and nine rebounds at Seton Hall on Wednesday. She followed that up with a career-high 26 points and nine boards in the win against Seton Hall on Saturday.

Forbes went 11-of-13 from the free throw line, including going 9-of-9 against DePaul.

Marquette returns to action on Wednesday night against Providence at the Al McGuire Center at 6:30 p.m. CT.
