Baldwin Votes to Protect the Right to IVF

Baldwin: “Every American deserves the right to decide if, how, and when they are going to start a family, without any politicians or judges butting in”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) released the following statement after voting to advance the Right to IVF Act, which would establish a nationwide right to IVF:

“Every American deserves the right to decide if, how, and when to start a family, without any politicians or judges butting in. Since Republicans overturned Roe v. Wade, that cherished freedom has been put on the chopping block, including access to IVF. I’m proud to have stood with Wisconsin families and voted to protect their right to IVF and to grow their families on their own terms.”
