Czechtoberfest
September 28th, 2-7pm @ Amorphic Beer/Crops on Top Garden
Amorphic beer will celebrate the coming of fall with a celebration not unlike most Oktoberfest celebrations, but with twists from the Czech Republic! Authentic Czech style sausage from the house butcher at Stefano’s Slo Food Market (and some other Czech treats), Live Music from Pay the Devil in the Crops on Top container stage, and multiple Czech inspired beers on tap in the garden. Free to attend, the event runs from 2-7pm on September 28th in the heart of Oktoberfest season. Come “Czech” out the flavors from the neighbor southeast of the much more familiar Germany.
Three Minute Thesis: All Stars Edition
October 9th, 2024, 7-10pm @ The Oriental Theatre Abele Theatre
One part comedy, one part education, and one part beer, the Amorphic variant of the international academic competition called “Three Minute Thesis” will take place in a larger venue for a special “All-Stars” edition. Amorphic Beer has partnered with Milwaukee Film to bring a special edition of the event to the much larger Oriental Theatre. With expanded capacity, Amorphic will hand select from the past 2 years of taproom champions who will compete for your votes at convincing the audience of whatever their thesis is, regardless of whether or not it is true! Past winning topics include “How to make the best grilled cheese”, and “The greatest invention Americans refuse to adopt.” There will be two bars serving 8 different Amorphic Beers and seltzers inside the theater itself throughout the event! This event is sure to be one of the most fun and most unique events of the year. Tickets are available at mkefilm.org for $10 and include a free Amorphic Beer!
