Brew City Match Announces Lineup for Upcoming Business Crawls
Join us the first three Saturdays in September to support local businesses and experience the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit of Milwaukee.
Milwaukee, WI — Brew City Match is excited to announce the lineup for the Brew City Business Crawls, a series of open house events designed to showcase businesses across Milwaukee’s North, South, and Westside neighborhoods. These events provide a unique opportunity for patrons to explore and learn about local businesses that have been supported by Brew City Match, nearly all of which are owned by people of color and/or women.
With the backing of Chase Bank, the State of Wisconsin, and other funders who have donated millions of dollars, the businesses being showcased in the Crawl have received a mix of grants, business coaching, loan counseling, and other resources to nurture their success.
“Entrepreneurs have poured all of themselves and more into bringing these projects to life,” explained Gabe Charles, Program Officer of LISC Milwaukee. “But for this transformation to be sustainable, the community must now rally behind the businesses and support their efforts. Our overlooked corridors deserve to shine, and it requires collective action and a shared commitment to spending our dollars locally.”
