Orville Pitts was born in 1933.

In 1950, he was the Golden Gloves champion.

He completed law school.

In 1968, he was elected the 6th district alderman in the City of Milwaukee, which made him the second African American alderman in Wisconsin. He also served as the deputy city attorney and county court commissioner.

He passed away on March 24th, 2015 at the age of 81.
