City of Milwaukee Black History Month to Conclude with Festivities Scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 27
The City of Milwaukee will conclude its 29 Days of Black History effort with a public celebration hosted Tuesday, February 27 at 12 p.m. in the first-floor rotunda at City Hall (200 E. Wells St.). In addition to music and refreshments, the celebration will recognize and honor local icons for their outstanding contributions to Black history, as well as recognize a local Living Legend and Emerging Leader for their efforts within the community. The profiles, photos, and stories of these honorees are available on the official city website (city.milwaukee.gov).
