Charges Dismissed in First Amendment Case Involving Mequon-Thiensville School Board Member Paul Buzzell
Mequon – Today, in a significant victory for First Amendment rights, an Ozaukee County Circuit Court Judge dismissed the charges against Paul Buzzell, a Mequon-Thiensville School Board member, who was previously charged with voter fraud for posting a photo of his completed ballot on Facebook.

The dismissal of this case sets a precedent affirming the importance of free speech in the context of political expression.
