Brewers Acquire Right-handed Pitcher Chad Patrick from Oakland
Send Infielder Abraham Toro to the Athletics
MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired right-handed pitcher Chad Patrick from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for infielder Abraham Toro. The announcement was made by Senior Vice President and General Manager Matt Arnold.
Toro, who turns 27 on Dec. 20, appeared in nine games with the Brewers this past season with five starts (2g at 1B, 2g at 3B, 1g at DH). He was acquired by Milwaukee from Seattle, along with outfielder Jesse Winker, in exchange for second baseman Kolten Wong last Dec. 2. Toro is eligible for arbitration.
