MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin – Feb. 24, 2023  Versiti, a national leader in innovative blood health solutions, has announced an addition to its team designed to enhance its ability to serve communities in Wisconsin. Jasmine M. Johnson joins Versiti as the Area Vice President for Versiti Wisconsin and Director of Donor Services.

Johnson’s top priority will be to lead the Donor Services team in its pursuit of meeting the demand of blood products needed to serve patients. With extensive experience in community advocacy, Jasmine will also oversee the team leading Versiti’s ThriveOn King collaboration, a new community resource and permanent blood donation center on Milwaukee’s North Side. Scheduled to open in 2024, the nearly 3,500 square-foot facility will serve as a community hub for Versiti, focused on providing resources to address healthcare disparities in Milwaukee neighborhoods through training, employment, education, and blood donation.

“We are confident Jasmine’s passion for community advocacy, natural authentic leadership, and breadth of experiences will inspire our Donor Services team as well as our community stakeholders so that we can continue to expand the reach of the Versiti beacon,” said Chris Miskel, president and CEO of Versiti. “Jasmine brings more than 20 years of service and advocacy as a proud Milwaukee resident.”

Prior to joining Versiti, she served on the senior leadership team at Milwaukee’s iHeartMedia Markets Group as Vice President of Sales. Johnson also served in roles at some of the largest global brands, including Pfizer Inc., Walgreens and ManpowerGroup. She was recently named one of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2023 Power Brokers and was selected as a participant of the 2020 Young American Leaders Program through Harvard Business School.

She holds a MS in Management from Cardinal Stritch University and a BS in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

Jasmine started her new role at Versiti on Monday, February 20.
