Milwaukee Streaming Service Releases 1st Original Content Ahead Of Milwaukee Film Festival Premier
A new Milwaukee-based streaming service releases its first original film which was filmed entirely in Wisconsin and will premier at the Milwaukee Film Festival.
IBEX (www.watchibex.com) is a new streaming service based out of Milwaukee with the focus being on highlighting local Wisconsin filmmakers and talent. This weekend it will release its first original content through an on-demand option from April 21 -24. The film is called DOWN WE GO and was written and directed by Milwaukee-native Ryan Allsop. After that, the film will then premiere at the MILWAUKEE FILM FESTIVAL as part of the “Milwaukee Show” on April 25th at the historic Oriental Theater. Following the festival, the film will be available for all subscribers to the new streaming service.
DOWN WE GO is a film about two old friends who reunite for a ski trip that will soon alter the course of their lives. It’s a comedy/drama film that was filmed entirely with Wisconsin cast and crew safety during the COVID pandemic.
