Lazy Susan MKE set to open in Bay View

Culinary entrepreneur A.J. Dixon will open a new restaurant – Lazy Susan MKE – at 2378 S. Howell Ave. in Bay View. Lazy Susan MKE will be open for business Tuesday, April 8th starting at 4 p.m. The restaurant will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 4-10 p.m. and an additional hour on Friday and Saturday evenings. Brunch will start Sunday, May 1.
Alderman Tony Zielinski, who worked with Ms. Dixon in her efforts to secure the location, said he is pleased that “Bay View will be adding another new dining option and that Lazy Susan will be an excellent addition to the diverse mix of dining establishments in Bay View.” Alderman Zielinski has worked closely with Business Improvement District #44 along South Kinnickinnic Avenue to welcome new businesses to Bay View.
Ms. Dixon is a culinary arts graduate of Milwaukee Area Technical College, and her professional experience includes work as head chef at Centro Cafe, kitchen manager at Café Lulu, County Clare, Jean Pierre in Shorewood, and The National, which she opened in December 2008.
