James Krickeberg announces candidacy for 13th District alderman
I’m running for this position because I love Milwaukee and I love my neighborhood.
Hello Milwaukee,
My name is James Krickeberg and I recently launched a campaign to become Alderman of Milwaukee’s 13th District.
I’m from Milwaukee and I’m very proud to call District 13 my home. Some of my best childhood memories were made playing baseball on the fields at Wilson Park and today I’m happy to be a supporter and sponsor of Wilson Premier Youth Baseball. I’m also proud to have completed my education in the city of Milwaukee by graduating in 2015 with a B.A. in Political Science from Marquette University. I’m currently a licensed real estate broker working on my family’s real estate team at RE/MAX Realty 100.
I’m running for this position because I love Milwaukee and I love my neighborhood. There is so much to celebrate, but so much that still needs to be achieved. Since I’ve never held public office I don’t know what the conversations in City Hall sound like, but I do know what they sound like in District 13. I make my living listening to the needs, wants, and expectations of my clients and then acting quickly and skillfully to deliver results. These clients include many families in the 13th district, Milwaukee Police and Firefighters, MPS teachers, and city employees. If elected I will do the same for all people in our district.
My priorities include maintaining and improving everything that makes the Garden District great. Our wonderful gardens, the Green Corridor, and our beautiful parks will remain at the high level we expect. Under my watch we’ll go above and beyond to make sure our entire district is clean so our presentation reflects the wonderful people who live here. You will have an Alderman that will fight to ensure our district receives the proper resources to keep our neighborhoods strong and the public safe. Finally, we will work together to revitalize our main commercial and entertainment corridors. For too long improvement and development has occurred all around us, but despite being the crown jewel of the city we’ve been left behind. We are the first impression of Milwaukee for people from all over the world. It’s time for someone to speak up and advocate that we be treated as such.
I am not accepting any donations for my campaign. All I ask for is your support and, if you reside in district 13, your vote. I look forward to meeting and speaking with my district 13 friends and neighbors in the coming weeks leading up to the July 16th primary election. Mark your calendar, grab a friend, and invite a neighbor to vote for James Krickeberg.
I’m happy to answer any questions you may have. You can contact me by e-mail at JamesKforD13@gmail.com
Safe, vibrant, and clean in District 13!
Sincerely,
James Krickeberg
