Statement from Rep. Barca on Foxconn Economic Development Announcement
Assembly Democratic Leader Peter Barca (D-Kenosha) released the following statement on a proposed economic development deal with Foxconn to build a manufacturing and technology campus in Southeastern Wisconsin:
“This has the potential to make an enormous impact economically on the region. That’s why the governor and the legislature must protect taxpayers and provide opportunities for long-term, family-supporting jobs for our residents. I look forward to continuing to work with local and state leaders to ensure the economic success of Southern Wisconsin and the entire state.”
