Lane and ramp closures on I-43 northbound set for Wednesday

Photo by Dave Reid.The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will have Milwaukee County Maintenance crews out doing pavement repair work on I-43 northbound from approximately 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24. The work will require a right lane closure on I-43 northbound between the Keefe Avenue / Atkinson Avenue off ramp and Green Bay Road. The on ramp from Keefe Avenue / Atkinson Avenue and the off ramp to Capitol Drive will also be closed to facilitate this work.
It is anticipated that delays may result due to the lane closure. Motorist are encouraged to consider alternate routes to avoid the backups.
