Brewery Projects Near Completion
An apartment building and a hotel add more excitement to the redevelopment project at the old Pabst brewery.
Two projects at the former Pabst brewery are nearing completion. CommonBond Communities 48-unit Brewery Point Apartments looks about as close to done as it could get from the outside. Just a block away, the Brewhouse Inn and Suites extended stay hotel now has a number of windows installed and the back patio space is taking shape.
For those keeping score at home, in addition to these two projects The Brewery features the Best Place bar, Blue Ribbon Lofts apartments, UW-Milwaukee School of Public Health, Cardinal Stritch’s College of Education and Leadership, the “Pabst Boiler House Building 10” (an office building with a mix of tenants from architects to lawyers), Zilber Park, a proposed office building, and a 900-stall parking garage that is LEED Golf certified.
These buildings were featured in a previous Friday Photos from earlier in the Summer. Compare their progress with where they are today. Additionally, we published a photo gallery of the Brewhouse Inn and Suites interior from Doors Open Milwaukee.

Jeramey – thank you for your continued interest in The Brewery. As one of the few LEED ND Platinum developments in the world all of Milwaukee benefits from your periodic updates. Thanks again!
Congratulations and thanks for chronicling this very significant story. I intend to use the information and the progress report in meetings next month with some Wisconsin leaders in the rental housing industry. Thanks much!!
