Summerfest’s V.P. of Entertainment, Bob Babisch, wins Festival Buyer of the Year Award at the 2016 IEBA Conference in Nashville, TN

Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials are proud to announce that Bob Babisch, V.P. of Entertainment for Summerfest, has won the 2016 Festival Buyer of the Year Award at the IEBA’s (International Entertainment Buyers Association) 46th annual Conference. In the category of “Festival Buyer of the Year,” Babisch competed against major buyers that book for some of the biggest festivals in the industry including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Festival, Coachella, Bonnaroo and The Governor’s Ball. Summerfest’s recognition is due to the efforts of Babisch’s entire entertainment team including Scott Ziel, Associate Booking Director, Vic Thomas, Associate Entertainment Director, Whit Lehnberg, Productions/Contracts/Stage Management and David Silbaugh, Entertainment Booker.
