Celebrate Indian Summer with MCTS

Milwaukee, WI – Celebrate Indian Summer with ease and convenience by taking the bus! The Milwaukee County Transit System’s (MCTS) Downtown Shuttle and local routes take festival-goers directly to Indian Summer held September 9-11, 2016, at Henry Maier Festival Park.

DOWNTOWN SHUTTLE SERVICE
Shuttles provide service roughly every 30 minutes to Indian Summer from 3:30 pm to 12:30 am on Friday, Sept. 9; from 11:30 am to 12:30 am on Saturday, Sept. 10; and from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm on Sunday, Sept. 11. Buses operate in both directions along Wisconsin Avenue. When traveling to Indian Summer, the Shuttle stops between N. 6th Street and N. Jackson Street, then proceeds directly to the Mid Gate. Stops are made at all bus stops marked with the Summerfest smile logo.

Shuttle Fare

Round-trip: Adults

  • MCTS M•CARD: $2.50
  • Cash: $3.00
  • M•CARD 1-, 7- or 31-Day Pass: Free

Round-trip: Children (ages 6 – 11), seniors (65 and over) and persons with disabilities with proper ID. Children under 6 ride free when accompanied by an adult.

  • MCTS M•CARD: $1.25
  • Cash: $1.50
  • MCTS M•CARD with a 1-, 7- or 31-Day Pass: Free

U-PASS, GO Pass, New Freedom Pass and Commuter Value Pass are accepted as full fare.

LOCAL ROUTES
MCTS buses also serve Indian Summer with numerous regular routes in the downtown area connecting to the Shuttle. Regular MCTS fares apply for travel on local routes. Freeway Flyer service is not offered for this festival.
