Help the Less Fortunate this Holiday Season and Stuff the Bus
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele and Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow Will Help Collect Food at Noon
Before sitting down with family and friends this Thanksgiving, give back by helping MCTS Stuff the Bus on Wednesday, November 25th! MCTS is proud to partner with 99.1 The Mix, Feeding America and Pick `n Save for the 18th annual one-day food drive. The goal this year is to collect enough food to provide 200,000 meals to hungry families this holiday season.
Stuff the Bus will take place from 6am – 6pm at the Brookfield South Pick `n Save at 15170 W. Greenfield Ave. People can buy food at the store to donate or stop by and drop of donations in the parking lot – just look for the MCTS bus!!
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele and Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow will be at the store at noon helping to collect food and encouraging people to donate nonperishable food items.
“Every donation, large and small, will make a big difference to families this holiday season. We encourage people to give what they can,” Abele said.
“For many of us who have so much to give thanks for, this event allows us to give something back and help those in need,” Farrow said.
Those who can’t make it to the event can also donate money online. For every $1 donation, Feeding America can provide three meals to someone in need.
